My visit to Poland began in a small town square and finished in the largest plaza in Europe and the time between has been no less varied. From a mountain trip to the city streets I have loved my experience of a Holy Trinity foreign tour of duty.
We have all been amazed by the generosity of the school community in Rybnik both in their patience and kindness. The children have all been made to feel part of the family and have looked so content and relaxed. I have felt welcomed by the school and enjoyed sharing a Polish assembly.
Kracow has been a fantastic experience with its beautiful architecture and the magnficent open spaces. One day is not enough to see it all and so I will be back. It's been great getting to know the teachers better, for once I am not trying to give them books and the chance for real conversation has been great.
Thank you Holy Trinity for being the sort of school willing to embrace this sort of experience despite all the work that goes into organising it,
